Misión Floresco
The mission the coffee came from
Floresco Roasting Company is a family-owned, farm-to-cup coffee roaster dedicated to producing excellent coffee and supporting Christian mission work in Guatemala.
Dr. Manny and Adriana Gonzalez founded Misión Floresco in 2018 for San Nicolás, a community in Fraijanes, Guatemala, where many families have lived in poverty for generations.
The mission has served San Nicolás since then alongside Dr. Mario Euceda, a physician. Together they have shared friendship, service and discipleship with the people there.

The dream, not yet built
In 2019, on the grounds of a retreat center in Guatemala, Dr. Mario and Adriana began to dream of land of their own. It would be a gathering place for Misión Floresco, with room for other churches and ministries to hold retreats too.
The land would also be somewhere the young adults of San Nicolás could prepare for life beyond their community and break the cycle of poverty their families have known. The hope was training and education at every level: the Christian faith first, then English, a trade and university.
None of it is built yet. It is what the land is for.
Where the coffee comes in
Manny had his own question: how could the mission give the young people of San Nicolás real work and a way to earn a living? The answer came in June 2025, and it came as a coffee farm.
Finca Floresco is within walking distance of San Nicolás, and it gives people from the community meaningful work. God willing, the retreat center from the 2019 dream will stand on that land one day. Floresco Roasting Company came out of the farm. The roastery exists because the mission does.
The mission’s own site is where its work is reported. The farm is where the coffee is grown.
